Fourth day out May 4 th
Paris 24 c - Israel 29 c - fly in then to Tele Aviv

6.29 am Here our plane to Israel from Paris and soon over the Alps.

7.52am Still more Alps, very impressive and the wings are ok.

10.56 am First look at Israel, coming into land.

10.58 am We're down and landed with a round of clapping from the passengers, (maybe they know something I don't know?)

11.17 Looks like she's happy and didn't the shoping area look good from up here.

11.19 No time for shopping off down the motorway to Tele Viv, looks clean and tidy.

11.37 We did head to Tele Viv and there are many big flats around here. Also see the hay making mowed hay in the foreground

Philip:
Very smooth ride to Israel and first impressions with people and weather is very simular to Australia.

Donna: We had to get up early 3.30 and I couldn’t sleep. The girl at the desk showed us which terminal to go because we were starting find Paris airport and Paris a bit confusing and I was nervous. Anyway we found the check in desk and the ELAL airlines, plus questioned us why we were coming to Israel and they checked our bags thoroughly for explosives and checked our passport 5 times, anyway we got on. They were very polite and quite people and there were religious Jews in front of us who prayed. The TV had pictures of Israel and they prayed before and when we landed in Hebrew. The breakfast was really healthy food. Our first site of Israel was dry and beaches and it looked hot. I was so glad we were there. The airport was very flash and full of marble and the airport was like Perth’s with ATM, food, etc. The girls liked it straight away, we couldn’t find the tour pickup and we eventually rang up. We apparently were late and they sent a taxi guy, we thought we had to pay but we didn't. Israel was full of flags and there were good highways. We got to Tel Aviv and the taxi driver talked a little to us. He was friendly and gave us some flags. It was Independence Day, Phil said he would be very cross if he was blown up We couldn't stop giggling. Our room was very nice and it had a 10 commandment mezuzah on the doors. Lucy was hungry again and we went and had pizza. The Tour pick up had an accident and the guide was going to arrange pickup at 1.00 pm for the next day.

Rebecca:
Today we flew to Tel Aviv on the EL AL airlines. When we got to the Airport our driver was late which we found out later that he had an accident on the way to the Airport. We got to the Hotel which was quite nice and was 1 minute away from the beach.
